Wade Raulerson's team at MHD Communications just recently completed a sixteen month project including security, phone, IT, media, nurse call and card access systems for our $23M retirement community, The Bridges, in
Brandon, Florida.

This 21 acre retirement campus, encompasses a 72,000 square foot Assisted Living building with 101 units and a 13,800 square foot clubhouse, commercial kitchen and pool. In addition, Phase II will include 86 villas and 116 condominium units. This is to give you an idea of the scope of work
MHD undertook.

Although MHD was found, through an RFP competitive bid process, to be the most cost effective company to fulfill our highly technical needs, it was their customer service that won the day.

Mr. Raulerson worked closely with us in researching the best products for the best price for our highly specific needs from both a health care and a safety standpoint. They left no stone unturned in finding the right products for us and working diligently with our electrical engineers, architect and general contractor. MHD was truly a part of our design team from the start.

MHD hires the best, and it shows. Their site crews took a highly personal and professional interest in our project. They are a dedicated team, willing to work out field problems with a "can-do" attitude and a strong work ethic. Their professionalism in the field rivaled their cooperation at the drawing board.

In my 38 years as an owners’ representative in construction projects, I have never encountered a more cost effective, professional and dedicated team. Don't let their small size fool you! I’m writing to thank you and the MHD team for setting up our phone systems, and for installing servers to fix our local area network.

The best part of our experience with MHD is that you listened to what we needed, advised us on the proper solution, installed it, and then made sure it worked for us. At our first meeting in the Spring, I told you about my frustration with an expensive phone system that I’d bought from another vendor-- but never
provided what we actually needed. You asked me several questions about what we need, looked at our physical layout, and then recommended the right system for us-- phones and related equipment. Our system has worked perfectly
ever since.

I also asked you to assess our local area network (four computers and two fax/printer/scanners). At the time, we were using servers that were hosted remotely by a vendor. All of our shared software (including Portfolio Center, Junxure, and Outlook Exchange) was on the hosted servers. The problem was that the system was very slow and unreliable. The server connection was down once or twice a week, which in our business is unacceptable.

You recommended that we install two servers in our office, which we did. Your team extracted all of our stored data from the hosted servers, reinstalled our software (and data) on our new servers, and made everything work for us. You also installed a daily backup tape sysem to store our daich I had requested. In the three months since you installed the servers, we have had zero down time. Zero. We will recover the money we spent to buy the servers in one year-- by saving the money we had been paying each month for the hosted servers.

I would recommend MHD for any busintess (and household) that needs a system designed specifically for their needs, and wants someone they can trust to design it and install it for them. You are welcome to use my name or show this letter to anyone considering hiring MHD.
