Click “Download” below. When prompted, insert username and password then click ‘Run’ or ‘Save’. If you choose to click ‘Run’, the utility will launch itself automatically, and when the remote session has ended, it will completely remove itself. If you ‘Save’ the utility, it will remain on your computer, in case you need remote support again in the future.

When the utility opens, there will be a menu with names. Double-click on the name the MHD technician gives you. Once the connection is initiated, the menu will disappear, and a small red MHD logo will appear in your task bar (right next to the time). When the connection is completed, this icon will turn green. At that time, the MHD technician will have shared control of your computer. You may terminate remote control by right-clicking on the green MHD logo, and clicking ‘Close’. Once the remote session has been ended, the utility will close itself. Once the utility has been closed, it is not possible to re-gain control of your computer without launching the utility again.

The MHD Remote Support utility is a small evasive utility that allows an MHD technician to gain control of your computer. It in no way modifies your computer. Once the session is terminated, you must launch the utility again, and select a technician’s name before any further remote control can take place.
